How to Download / Record Spotify Music to iPod

If you are a fan of Spotify and own an iPod, you might want to know some tricks to download or record Spotify music and listen on iPod offline. Good news! This guide will show you 3 methods on how to easily download Spotify music and transfer them to iPod.

Part 1How to Directly Download Spotify Music

Spotify is compatible with all the iPod classic models, iPod shuffle and iPod Nano. You can sync Spotify music to any of them by using the USB cable. But there is one exception - iPod touch. To sync Spotify music to iPod Touch, you need to download Spotify's mobile app to listen to local tracks.

Notice: Spotify mobile app is incompatible with the first generation iPod touch.

Step 1. Launch Spotify on the computer.

Step 2. Plug your iPod into your computer via USB. Then agree to erase your iPod and sync it with Spotify. After Spotify erases your iPod, you will see two options: Sync All Music to This iPod and Manually Choose Playlists to Sync. Now choose the first one.

Step 3. The iPod will automatically start syncing all your music from Spotify. When the sync is complete, you should unplug your iPod from the computer. Now you would see that all your Spotify music is on your iPod.
